Officials at K. Hovnanian Homes recently announced a plan to build a new community of single-family homes at Fiddyment Farm in growing northwest Roseville.
Dubbed Legacy, the community will feature flexible floorplans with optional third-car garages and large, pool-sized backyards on homesites averaging more than 7,800 square feet.
In all, a limited edition of 41 homes will be offered at Legacy. Construction on the community’s three model homes is expected to begin within a few months, with completion planned for early 2010.
An interest list is forming for homebuyers seeking additional information on the community.
“Many potential buyers have expressed interest in homes with large yards to accommodate a pool or other backyard amenities,” said Ray Putnam, area president for K. Hovnanian Homes, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. “We’ve designed the homes at Legacy to meet the needs of these buyers while providing additional options allowing them to customize their homes. Each buyer will have the option of an additional, private guest bedroom or three-car garage.”
The new homes at Legacy will be set amid the surroundings of Fiddyment Farm in Roseville.
Parks and open space have been incorporated into the neighborhood designs to provide recreational opportunities.
Off-street walking paths and bicycle trails connect the homes while more than 200 acres of regional, community and pocket parks surround the master-planned community.
Additional recreational attractions near Fiddyment Farm and Legacy by K. Hovnanian Homes include Woodcreek Golf Club and the City of Roseville’s aquatic complex.
